Cook’n in the Woods II Rally

Back by popular demand, Cook’n in the Woods II rally will once again be at the Kit Price Campground on the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River. The Forest Service campground is located a few miles north of Prichard, Idaho.

Planned activities, this time around, will include a challenging rubber duck race on the river. No need to fret, you won’t get wet to enjoy this event. We’re also planning a caravan to visit the Cataldo Mission, Idaho’s oldest building and lunch out at the Enaville Resort aka the Snakepit. There will be some open time just to enjoy the river and pristine woods. Bring your fishing pole if you want. Each night we will have a roaring campfire and swap stories.

We’re planning two breakfasts, one lunch out, and three dinners. All you need to bring is your adventurous spirit; empty holding tanks and a full water tank. Revcon owners – there’s water and a dump station a short drive away to accommodate your tiny tanks. You’ll access the campground via paved roads and each site is paved with a picnic table & fire pit. For those who don’t want to partake in the day trip, you can plunk your chair in the river and read a good book. For the young at heart, bring your raft and we can float the Coeur d’Alene River!

Please note – there aren’t any current bushes (electricity) or cell phone service – isn’t that great? Mark your calendars for August 3rd, arrival date, 4th and 5th, 2010. Since we are having this rally in such a secluded area with very limited facilities, the first 10 coaches to sign up will receive confirmation and everyone else will be put on a waiting list in case of cancellations. Deadline for registrations is July 15, 2010.
